In many European countries discrimination and racial segregation are not things of the past. Communities of Roma people are often excluded from the areas inhabited by the white majority and pushed to the outskirts of towns and villages. Their return home brings a bitter-sweet reunion with their families, overshadowed by the deepening despair of their prospects. Their community and faith are all they rely on and have left. Helping each other in time of need makes them overcome the hardest moments.
Expelled from “civilization”, they find hope by living close to nature and the sunset is always free on their hill.
